Holy Bible - That the Bible is the story of God’s interaction with humanity. It tells of His love and devotion, how He created us and wants us to know Him. It is our guide in everything. - how we live, what we believe, the way we should interact with one another - II Timothy 3:16, John 10:35

Three Persons - That God is one and yet we know Him in three ways, called “persons” - God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit. - II Corinthians 13:14, Matthew 28:19

Created in His Image - That God created all of humanity in His image, therefore we all have value, from the tiniest baby to the oldest person, even those who have disabilities or are not able to contribute to society. Everyone has immense value to God and to us. - Romans 3:23, Ephesians 2:8-9

Reconciliation - God desires to know us and for us to know Him. Our sin - the wrong things we do - changed our relationship to God, but He loves us so much that He became a man (Jesus) in order to fix it. Jesus’ gave his life to repair that relationship. - Romans 10:13, John 3:3, I Peter 1:18-19

Holy Spirit - That everyone receives God’s spirit when we receive Christ, but we should also want to be filled with His Holy Spirit. - Romans 8:9

Baptism in the Holy Spirit - That every Christian should be baptized with the Holy Spirit, an experience which may occur at the time of salvation (Acts 10:42-46, Acts 11:15-16), or which may occur at some time after the initial salvation experience.

Gifts of the Holy Spirit - That every Christian should desire both the fruit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit, for I Corinthians 14:1 admonishes us to pursue love, yet earnestly desire spiritual gifts. 

Baptism in Water - One way that we publicly tell everyone that we have decided to follow Jesus is by being baptized (fully immersed) in water. This is a declaration of what Jesus has done, and we identify ourselves with Him in his death (going under water) burial, and resurrection (coming back out of the water).Acts 2:41, Colossians 2:12

Communion (Lord's Supper) - We celebrate what Jesus did for us by taking communion (eating crackers and juice) and remembering that he suffered for us (crackers) and he bled for us (juice). - I Corinthians 11:23-36

Jesus Christ - We believe that Jesus was a real person who walked on the earth. He was God in the flesh and His death made a way for humanity to be in relationship with God again, the way He created us to be. -
