The Perekotiy's

Yuriy & Madison Perekotiy

We are the Perekotiys – a half Ukrainian, half American family! We have been entrusted with three beautiful children: Chambers (2013), Lev (2015) and Mila (2016).

After living on the Gulf Coast of Alabama for six years, we packed up our gang and moved to Odessa, Ukraine, a beautiful, historic port city on the Black Sea!

Our heartbeat has always been caring for the vulnerable and fatherless, and we know how important it is to do this through the local church. Our vision is to see Christ proclaimed as we serve the community in Odessa. We partner with a Ukrainian organization to serve at-risk families, orphans + children with special needs. We are also learning Russian Sign Language as we prepare to connect orphanages, boarding schools and camps for children who are deaf.

THe Branson's

Corey & Lindsey Branson

Corey and Lindsey Branson have been married since October of 2013. They have two young children by the name of Cooper and Londyn! Throughout our entire marriage, we have been actively involved as leaders in youth ministry.

God has called us to Latin American missions and last summer, while on a trip to Costa Rica, we received confirmation from God that Costa Rica will be our future home. We are partnering with Christy Hepner, who is currently on the field. We will be working with an after school program that empowers parents to take an active role in their children’s academic lives and give an opportunity to share Jesus with these families. Our desire is to help grow this ministry, even more, to be able to reach and impact the community as a whole.

The

Angie
Wheeler

Angie Wheeler

Angie is a Registered Nurse and worked for 12 years in the medical field. In the late 1990’s, Angie’s heart for missions grew as she went on mission trips around the world: Argentina, Cameroon, Mozambique, Guatemala, and South America. She worked with various organizations, including Mercy Ships and Iris Ministries. In 2002, Angie began Beacon of Hope – Africa, reaching out to youth in Mozambique by providing a transition home where life skills and discipleship are the focus. Hope House can house a maximum of 14 boys. There are local workers to help assist in construction, housework, cooking, driving, and administration. In addition to helping the boys, the ministry feeds many people from the community each day, providing them with nourishment for the body, soul and spirit.
